New LTM 1110-5.1 for the company Kranen Limonta NV

A brand new mobile crane LTM 1110-5.1 has been delivered to the company Limonta N.V. at Bree.

Our smallest 5-axle mobile crane scores not only with its top performance but also with its enormous mobility: it achieves a total weight of only 48 tons with axle loads of less than ten tons.

The lightweight design of the new LTM 1110-5.1 has a further advantage: with the usual design for mobile cranes of twelve tonnes axle load, it can carry the enormous counterweight of 13.4 tonnes. This means that this type of crane already operates largely as a rapid-assembly crane. In addition, a total of 29 tonnes of counterweight is available. And here, too, the Liebherr engineers have ensured that they are evenly transported on the vehicle with an axle load of less than 16 tonnes: for countries where these high axle loads are permitted or for driving on site with the boom lowered and thus secured. The advantage: with a quick-change system for the ballast plates, the crane operator can switch from one travel position to another in no time at all.

As far as hoisting height is concerned, the telescopic boom of the 110 t crane is one of the longest in its class at 60 m.

If the construction site permits free positioning, the LTM 1110-5.1 even advances to the next higher crane class. This is because VarioBase® Plus generates additional performance: the combination of trapezoidal and variable outrigger bases, together with the widened rear outriggers, provides particularly high lifting capacities.
