\u201cSafety first,\u201d one might think at Fuchs. The German manufacturer of material handling cranes is the only one in this segment to be equipped with a maintenance platform. This ensures that not only the safety of the technicians is considered, but also that of the customers\u2019 personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The maintenance of these machines is of vital importance. That is why our technicians regularly attend technical training courses at Fuchs to stay up to date with all developments. A maintenance service is carried out every 500 hours. Over the lifetime of the crane, this amounts to many service interventions, all of which must at all times be carried out safely. In addition to the maintenance work, the customer must also check the level of various components themselves: e.g. oil reservoir, grease pot, coolant, etc. This too must be done safely!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Access to the platform is very easy. The smaller material handling cranes up to 35 t are equipped with a fold-out ladder, while the cranes from 45 t upwards are fitted with a ladder located just beneath the upper structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The major advantage of this platform is, of course, in addition to safety, that all components are easily accessible in no time. Once on the platform, on the right-hand side there is access to the fuel and AdBlue tanks as well as the filters. The engine compartment is located at the rear, where all filters and reservoirs can be inspected and replaced if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The central lubrication system of the upper structure comes as standard. The grease pot is always visible from the cab as well as from ground level, allowing it to be monitored in time to see when it needs refilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
